Private Event Manager is an invitation-only platform. You may only access the platform if an event organizer (host) has added your phone number and sent you a private invitation link. We do not offer public registration or open sign-ups.

2. Information We Collect

  • Phone number — provided by your event organizer and used to send your invitation. Required for your primary account.
  • First name — provided by your event organizer at the time of invitation.
  • Email address — provided by you when completing your profile. Used for account login.
  • Password — stored in encrypted form. We never store passwords in plain text.
  • RSVP responses — your responses to event invitations.
  • Profile photo — optionally uploaded by you.
  • Device and usage data — standard web server logs including IP address and browser type, used for security and platform maintenance.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To send you SMS event invitations when an organizer adds you to an event
  • To send you SMS event reminders and updates
  • To send you SMS notification if an event is cancelled
  • To authenticate your account login
  • To display your profile to event organizers and co-attendees per event settings
  • To maintain platform security and prevent abuse

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to your use of the platform.

4. SMS Messaging

By providing your phone number to an event organizer who registers it on this platform, you consent to receive SMS messages from Private Event Manager. These messages include:

  • A one-time invitation link to complete your profile
  • Event invitations for events you have been added to
  • Event reminders prior to events you have RSVPd to attend
  • Event cancellation or update notices

Message frequency: Varies based on event activity. Typically 1–5 messages per event.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

To opt out of SMS: Reply STOP to any message, or remove your phone number from your profile in your account settings. You may also contact your event organizer to have your number removed.

To opt back in: Update your SMS preferences in your account profile settings.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited information in the following circumstances:

  • With event organizers — organizers who invited you can see your profile name, member names, and RSVP status for their events.
  • With co-attendees — depending on event settings chosen by the organizer, other invited guests may see your profile name and RSVP status.
  • With SMS delivery providers — we use Twilio to deliver SMS messages. Your phone number is transmitted to Twilio solely for message delivery. Twilio’s privacy policy is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
  • As required by law — we may disclose information if required by a valid legal process.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information including encrypted password storage, HTTPS encryption for all data transmission, and access controls limiting who can view your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to have your account and data deleted, contact your event organizer or reach out to us directly. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
